Museum of Science and Industry Chicago

Chicago's Museum of Science and Industry, one of the largest science museums in the world, is home to more than 35,000 artifacts and nearly 14 acres of hands-on exhibits designed to spark scientific inquiry and creativity.

Due to changes in Illinois law, the free days listed for the Museum of Science and Industry and other Chicago museums in September 2011 and later are only available to Illinois residents.

Hours of Operation Monday-Thursday: 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday-Sunday: 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Open every day except Christmas Day

Admission Adult: $15, Senior: $14, Child: $10
