The Exploratorium is a museum of science, art, and human perception located in San Francisco, California. We believe that following your curiosity and asking questions can lead to amazing moments of discovery, learning, and awareness, and can increase confidence in your ability to understand how the world works.

Free Days Information

Free admission on first Wednesday of each month; however, due to capacity limits, groups of 10 or more are required to make reservations or will not be admitted.

Hours of Operation Tuesday through Sunday: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Admission Adult (18-64): $15.00, Student and seniors (65+): $12.00, Youth (ages 13-17): $10
