The DuSable Museum of African American History, the first and oldest institution of its kind in the country, has been dedicated to the collection, preservation, interpretation and dissemination of the history and culture of Africans and Americans of African descent.

Tuesday thru Saturday: 10am – 5pm
Sunday: Noon – 5pm
The Museum is closed to the public on the following days: Mondays, Easter, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Day

Adults: $10.00,
Students & Seniors: $7.00,
Children Ages 6 to 11: $3.00,
Children Under 5: FREE
