Brandywine River Museum

The Brandywine Valley is home to many exceptional museums and gardens, many located within ten miles of the Brandywine River Museum. These include the Delaware Art Museum, Delaware Center for the Contemporary Arts, Delaware Museum of Natural History, Hagley Museum and Library, Historical Society of Delaware, Longwood Gardens, Mt. Cuba Center, Rockwood Mansion Park, and Winterthur Museum & Country Estate.

Free Days Information

The Brandywine River Museum is free on Sunday mornings (9:30 a.m. to Noon) from January 16 to November 20, with one exception. That is on Sunday May 29, during our annual antiques show. Admission will be required on this day because this is a fundraiser with all proceeds benefiting the Museum Volunteers' Purchase Fund, which has contributed more than 200 paintings, drawings and prints to the Museum's collections.

Admission Adults: $10.00, Seniors, students and children: $6.00, Audio tours: $3.00
